About Balaguruswamy Temple

Sri Bala Gurrappa swamy is the another avatar of Lord Shiva made his adobe in Lankipalli vari palli, Chinnagottigallu along with the goddess Ankamma and goddess Yellamma.

These Devasthanams are prominently known for their Tholi Ekadasi celebrations every year in the months of June or July.

An Extended celebration of Ekadasi also known as Koluvu will be conduted for more than five days once in Twelve years, which is graced by huge gatherings.


Ekadasi Celebrations

The unique tradition of making god available for Darshan only on Ekadasi days and grand Procession is an eye feast for Devotees.


The procession consists of unique dance forms accomplished by blissful music of flutes, drums and other Instruments.
